Homemade bangers

As a fun project with my brother Joakim, we decided to try and make Heston Blumenthal's perfect bangers and mash from scratch.

We went to a country-side butcher and got some nice pork and casings. We ground the meat, charred the pork fat, made bread-infused water and other cumbersome but fun parts of the sausage making process.

The recipe is a bit complex, and it's definitely not the easiest way to make bangers, but they turned out really good. The texture was nice and they tasted very authentic and traditional.
